“I'm still waking up every day
looking at him like, Wow, I'm
father I have a son. It's still
amazing, you know?”
MEET THE RASOLOFONIANAs
Rina is a Social Media & Marketing rockstar at ONE and a proud father of a two-year-old, Tiako.
It means everything to me.
All the joy and love is something I’ve never expected. I was told it's going to be amazing, but I only truly understood it when I experience parenthood myself.
I think ONE teaches a lot of amazing values, especially the way they value and treat the Martial Arts sport and the way our fighters behave.
The way they advocate values like Humility, Integrity and Respect, makes me comfortable showing ONE events to my son because I don't look at it as violence but as lessons on commitment, respect, and discipline all of which I hope to inspire him.
I practice martial arts myself for about two years now. I started in the summer of 2019, about the same time I was just a few months into fatherhood. It is something I have always wanted to do. I want to be able to teach my child something good and eventually when he is old enough, how to defend himself.
Being a father also really motivated me to go to the gym and commit to the hours and improve my overall health. I feel way better now despite it being challenging. I am training towards getting my blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by the end of the year and I hope to be able to pass this passion on to my son later in his life. He can do whatever he likes in life, a little bit of education but I will make the blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu mandatory for him.
Fulfilling.
I'm just happy that this little guy is happy. That's it. That's enough for me.
We’ve asked Tiako to pick out a ONE Tee for Dad and he chose the ONE Forest Monotone Forest Logo Tee.
